MB Structured Investments UK Memory Conditional Income Deposit Plan June 2023 – 7291

MB Structured Product Logo

The MB Structured Investments UK Memory Conditional Income Deposit Plan is a 5 year 3 week investment that offers a potential gross interest of 6.55% each year, subject to the performance of the FTSE 100 index.

At the Maturity Date, the return of the amount you place in the Plan (your ‘Capital’) is  not dependent on the performance of the Index and, subject to Deposit Taker risk, will  be returned in full.

If the Closing Level of the Index on any Annual Measurement Date is at or above its  Opening Level, the Plan will pay gross interest of 6.55% for that year. No interest will  be payable for a year if the Closing Level of the Index is below its Opening Level on  the relevant Annual Measurement Date.

If an interest payment, or payments, are not payable in respect of a particular year(s),  but interest becomes due in respect of any subsequent year, the memory feature will  lead to the payment of all unpaid income amounts up to that point, including the  income due in that year.

Your money will be deposited with Barclays Bank plc. through a Bare Trust. A Bare  Trust is an arrangement which allows the Plan Manager to act on behalf of applicants  in relation to their Deposit. The Deposit is effectively a loan to Barclays Bank plc and  repayment will depend on the ability of Barclays Bank plc to pay the amounts due to  us.

It is MB Structured Investment’s understanding that any interest payment from a direct investment by individuals or Trusts into this Plan are expected to be subject to Income Tax.
